Hello to all my dear Asean Hive friends! Its a wonderful day today to share the moment I spent together with my relatives that I didn't meet for almost 3 decades, and I am so glad that finally I was able to have a chance to reunite with them through my cousin's wedding that my mom and I attended.
Yesterday we traveled to Salay Misamis Oriental; it was a 5-hour trip from Cagayn de Oro City to witness my cousin's wedding and to see my relatives that I hadn't met for 3 years. I was still a 15-year-old teenager when I last met them at Agusan del Norte, where I stayed in their place for 2 months.
I had a happy moment living with my relatives in a simple provincial life where no electricity is far from the city and they live in the forest. The people from the province are happy and content with the life that they have, such as farming is their way of life. As I get older now, I have realized that having that kind of life away from toxic people and too much crowd from the city is contentment.
I told my cousin that I would prefer to live in the province because of the peaceful surroundings, fresh air, fresh fruits and vegetables they can harvest anytime from their garden, and having some livestock such as pigs, cows, and chickens in their area.
Back to the wedding of my cousin, it was a fabulous wedding that they had planned a couple of months ago, and I would like to thank them that my mom and her older sister were able to meet again for 30 years. I am so glad also that I was able to spend some time with my aunt for 2 days, and she is now 80 years old but still so strong, and I think because she lives in a province and eats nutritious foods such as fresh vegetables and fruits.
Because we are all having fun laughing with a funny talk with my cousins, I already forgot to take some pictures with our bond, and luckily I had some pictures taken at the wedding reception. Honestly, I am not really invited to the wedding, but I just invited because I really want to see my relatives, especially my aunt, whom I missed so much.
The day passes by so quickly till we realize that it's time for us to go home because we also have some obligations at home and I wasn't able to bring my maintenance medicine, so I cannot stay longer. We left so happy with the happy memories again with them, but before we arrive from our city, we decided to visit a beach for a couple of hours.
We are at Balingasag beach, then we stay for a couple of hours for a vitamin sea and to see the beautiful beach of the beach. I wasn't able to go for a swim because I already feel weak due to not having enough sleep. That's why I decided just to take a picture of them.
Thank you so much for reading my post today. It's my pleasure to be a part of this community where we can share our daily activities and events as well.
