March 9th, 2024Ā Ā Ā It's another week and another raffle, and we continue our upward trajectory. HiveSQL is still down, causing me to have trouble pulling information like delegation statistics. I do know that we've lost a few delegations, but this only came after I gave a few community members several warnings to interact with their fellow community members in addition to posting. We are thankful for delegations, but a generous delegation doesn't exempt anyone from contributing to the sustainability of ASEAN Hive.
Ā Ā Ā Our growth as a community has far exceeded my wildest expectations, and I still find myself in disbelief when I see ASEAN Hive Community constantly ranked in the top Hive Communities. In addition to this our voting power recently surpassed $3.00, something I also never imagined would happen. This community was built by all of our combined efforts, and for that I am grateful beyond words.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Ā Ā Ā Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP š„ BRONZE Raffle.
Ā Ā Ā There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Ā Ā Ā This week's total effective HP is 168,970, and total delegated HP is 154,654 HP (118,051 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
