November 9th, 2024Ā Ā Ā This week's raffle has a major shakeup in regards to the percentages each VIP tier is eligible for. @gabe.radke's recent 10,000+ HP uptick put him in with the DIAMOND members, now making it a trio, and thus taking the DIAMOND share of the raffle all the way to 70%. The PALTINUM share went down after losing their top member, but that's not bad news for @kbv.animalwelf, who sits at the of this tier now.
Ā Ā Ā @rosmadirazali took his delegation up to 1,100 HP and moved up the raffle ladder a bit in the process. In the SILVERs, @tegoshei took her 100 HP delegation up to a whopping 150 HP, a 50% increase. Her mother, @arashi0416, also increased her delegation from 50 HP to 100 HP and became a SILVER member. As far as delegation activity goes, that sums up this week's news.
Ā Ā Ā In other non-raffle news, I apparently can't end my posting hiatus no matter how hard I try. My wife's poor physical health and fatigue keep me too distracted with caregiving, parenting and doing household chores like cooking and cleaning. This has gotten much worse in the last year and now my income is less than our monthly family expenses. Something must be done, and in the past my modest Hive income from daily blogging was sufficient, but now without time for my blog, I need to make two or three times my current income in about 1/3rd of the working hours. Well, that's my ramble for now, keep scrolling and see if you're in the winners' circle.....

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Ā Ā Ā Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP š„ BRONZE Raffle.
Ā Ā Ā There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Ā Ā Ā This week's total effective HP is 176,916, and total delegated HP is 161,420 HP (130,401 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
