In Indonesia kids are taught many useful life skills from a very young age, and among those skills KIDS EAT CHILIES STRAIGHT FROM THE GARDEN in order to develop their immune system and also to build character.
It is believed that learning how to casually eat chilies as if they were fruit helps one to prepare for a life of balado and sambal eating. You know when you're eating enough chilies by noticing that the sweat coming off your forehead burns your eyeballs.

In rural Thailand there is a local VILLAGE GOOSE PARADE that has become legendary, mostly because only one man participates in this parade each year, one of our very own ASEAN Hivers.
It is quite a sight to see, a man wandering down the street alone with a goose in his arms. Locals and tourists from afar wait along the roadside to take pictures of and selfies with this guy, and it's not really clear who is more beloved, the goose or the man.

ABANDONED CYCLOS are turning up all over Vietnam after as self-driving cars become more and more affordable. Cyclo operators are worried that the future will be full of abandoned EV batteries, and this will be a much worse problem.
The future is unknown, but it seems it would be a better idea to retrofit existing cyclos with EV technology. They are smaller and more efficient in urban traffic, but I guess the more modern attitudes want to do away with the old ways.
