My oldest daughter is getting more and more confident on her 50cc SuperCub, and we now take road trips together for shopping and other things.
⛰️ Climbing Phnom 1500 🛵
@srey-yuu is now 15 years old and getting more and more comfortable on her Honda SuperCub. It is only 50ccs, but that is more than enough to travel at highway speeds here and it's also good to develop the fundamental skills on an underpowered bike. Perfectly timed smooth shifting is required on our underpowered family bikes. My wife and I ride an old-school 3-speed 90cc, but as we our heavier and our daughter's bike has 4 gears, it's a pretty good match for long-distance trips.
My bike screams at 70 km/h with only three gears, but Srey-Yuu's bike can purr quietly at 65+km/h on the flats, so when we cover the same distance my wife and I consume about twice as much fuel. She has always complained about her underpowered bike, but one day when/if she upgrades to a larger engine size, she may find herself missing the 130 km/l fuel mileage of her SuperCub. We have to climb and descend Phnom 1500 to reach a town about an hour away where there is a proper Cambodian style market with various sellers.
🏴☠️ One Piece ⚓
The above picture is of me trying to throw a hat, take a picture, and shout "One Piece!" at the same time. For some reason my youngest daughter Monkey-B reminds me of Monkey D. Luffy from the Netflix series, "One Piece." They both share the name Monkey, they are both cheeky, and my wife has a straw hat, so it's natural. The game I play to entertain myself is throw the hat with an intent to land it on her head while shouting "One Piece!" Sometimes I land a ringer and feel like a winner.
📷 Shameless Cat Pics Yo' 🐈⬛
These pictures are from mid-May, and I'm still playing catch-up from my Hive hiatus. So much changes so quickly in life, my wife no longer has braces and ChairWoman Meow gave birth to three kittens last night. I will eventually share the kitty pics, but I'm gonna try and maintain chronological order within my blog.
I found the above pic in my camera roll, and I still haven't asked to see which family member took this shot. It's a good example of my occasional afternoon old-man nap with ChairWoman Meow. who prefers my legs during the day and my chest at night for use as a sleeping pad. It gets pretty cold here in the Cardamom Mountains at night, but luckily MeowCat makes a nice mobile mini heating pad.
It is still hard for me to believe I love this cat, and as much as I hate fur and hair flying around, she has won my affection, bed, dirty clothes, and basically anything she needs. My wife struggles with depression and some other issues, so this little bundle of feline joy provides me with countless positive moments each day. She keeps me in good spirits by showing me how to enjoy the simplest things in life, and for that I am grateful.
