Blessed Sunday @asean.hive six days left and month of November will be leaving. The spirit of Christmas will soon be feeled once December starts. I hope our house will soon dried up. I can't say that November was good month for us, but it brought a surprise for Ria. Before our third evacuation in my in-laws house. The school planned a pageant for the scouting month. The date was reset because of the storms and flood. Then the teacher announced that November 15 is a big day for the participants. I was nervous because it's hard to practice dancing while our house is flooded. But we did our best for Ria and my reason an additional grade for participating the activity.
Before the pageant starts Ria was counting her coins, she told us she's saving her money because she wanted to buy toys. And I'm not the kind that will promise something and will never done. I'd rather tell my kids to wait for the right time. I also granted Ria's hardwork for being a beaver awardee so I told her that if she did her best she'll be given more.
The pageant criteria are; introduction, talent, question & answer and uniform.
Me and @katsuki29 repaired Ria's jacket. We get the bling-blings and put it into her skirt. We also cut the other part of jacket, we didn't expect that it will look good to her.
The big day, I was nervous, I wish that Katsuki has no class but she had. But she tied Ria's hair, and put make-up on it. We've just arrived on time, I don't want Ria to keep waiting. Each class represent one pair, girl and a boy. The competition is between grade 1-3 and 4-6 while in kinder anyone could participate. As I said all I want is the grade and an experience for my child. Ria's competitors there were two at first but Ria's classmates cry on stage but she was not bullied. She was afraid and nervous so she back out. So there were only two now.
If you look closely Ria is starring at me, before the introduction starts Kylie was already crying. I already know that Ria will be affected too, we also have only one boy participant. So Ria walk alone in the stage, she was nervous she forgot her line. But atleast after she at look at me she was able to say her introduction. Kylie also did her best but after saying her name she got stock and about to cry.
Talent Portion
I admire Ria on talent portion, I admit that I also forgot the steps. But she did everything and she looks really enjoyed. That's what she wear that we repaired. Kylie didn't make on talent portion we were cheering her but she cried and when I saw her she already went home.
I was so proud of Ria here are of our selfies.
I've change Ria costume because she got hungry. Then we change again for the question and answer. I thought it was hard a question but Ria answered it all with confidence.
Because it's the scouting month my son Jj was also around. His just around us supporting Ria to the contest.
It's now time to announce the winners
I'll never forget Ria's face after the principal first called the first runner up. I know in her mind she loss but she was the winner. The crowd was cheering at her. I was proud at her, I even told her to be sport and just enjoy it all. But her hardships was paid off.
She received a Sash, plaque, and money. This time she doesn't need to count her coin's because I let her bought all the stuff that she want. A total of $6.80 the experience was really memorable. I want her to take on the next level I'm just waiting for the opportunities to come.
These kids are all amazing, they are the outcome of our hard work. We need to inspire and guide them so in return they can have their own strength to reach their dreams. We're so proud of Ria I know there will be more for her.
