Me and Aimee went out today to meet up with an old friend from college and after some lunch and a catch up me and herself headed up the town and popped into a few shops.
In one of the last ones we went into I saw all of these.
As soon as I see Xbox or PlayStation games that aren't Fifa I get excited.
All of these ones are in good nick with their manuals, but they aren't worth a whole lot sadly, so it wasn't the most amazing pickup.
The LOTR film was a decent enough one though. I actually have the Two Towers and Return of The King of the same boxset, but not Fellowship, so it's nice to complete the three movies and have the full set.
We bought an embroidery machine last week, because it's something Aimee has wanted to get into for a while now, and the main reason for going around the shops was for her to find some clothes to practice on.
She walked away with a polo, and two hoodies, which is handy since she can experiment on a couple different types of fabric.
I picked this up too.
Go For Broke is essentially anti monopoly, and it's a fairly fun game. I hadn't seen one around in a long time so figured why not pick it up.
The idea was cemented when the guy mentioned that all board games were half off today, so I went for it.
Not the greatest haul, just a few shelf fillers, but I'm happy enough to grab the odd bargain when they arise.
I'm currently in chats with someone about another deal which includes a handful of games, three controllers and a Kinect camera.
The controllers are the main thing I want though, because a pickup I got a while back had a few controllers, but some were damaged, so it would be nice to have a handful of working ones.
