My sister, who usually helps out, had gone to our older sister’s house. She needed access to electricity to complete her school project since we didn’t have power at home. That left me with the task of managing all the chores by myself. I decided to start with fetching water from a nearby borehole, which was quite exhausting. With water secured, I moved on to organizing and cleaning the rooms. Each space demanded attention, from dusting and sweeping to arranging items back in their proper places.
Next, I washed the bathroom and toilet, scrubbing them thoroughly. Once that was done, I turned my attention to the dishes. There were so many piled up that it seemed like the chore would never end. Nevertheless, I pushed through, determined to finish everything.
Just when I was beginning to feel completely drained, my sister returned home. Thankfully, she took over the task of preparing dinner, which gave me a much-needed break. I took a refreshing bath and stepped out for my daily outdoor clean-up routine. Below are some pictures.
