My Sunday Cleaning Experience 24/11/2024

Hello friends,
Let me share another cleaning experience and a rundown of my day. Today being Sunday, I woke up very late, around 7 a.m. Even though I was running late for the meeting, I felt reluctant to leave my bed. I was still dizzy as I had slept late the previous night, and it was taking its toll on my body.

It took some shouting from my mom and a not-so-kind reminder from my sister to finally get me out of bed and out of my room. The first thing I did was grab a broom to sweep the compound. Sweeping our compound during the dry season is becoming quite a nightmare for me. We have a mango tree in our compound, and during the dry season, it sheds its leaves and flowers as it prepares for the next fruiting season. This often leaves the compound messy and challenging to clean, especially when using just a broom.

I did my best to sweep and clean the compound with all the strength I had. After sweeping and disposing of the pile of leaves and dirt, I headed back inside, feeling hangry. Luckily, my sister had just finished cooking and had also dished out my food. So, I brushed my teeth, ate, bathed, and dressed up for our Christian meeting. For the first time in ages, I was early.

The meeting was great, and after about two hours, I was back home. By then, I was feeling dizzy again, so I had my lunch and some fruits to recharge. I had planned to complete my project after eating, but I couldn’t muster the energy, so I decided to take a nap. I set my alarm to wake me up after an hour, but guess what? I woke up four hours later!

By the time I woke up, it was already late, and I hadn’t done my usual outdoor cleaning. I quickly grabbed my trash bucket and disposal bag and headed out. I picked up a handful of litter and dirt, gathered it all in my trash bucket, and prepared it for proper disposal. Here are some pictures.
