I'm late to post this one. These pictures are from back in May so I'm a solid two months behind. I don't know why I jump around in my posting so much, but what can you do.

It's was a long weekend in Canada and we were at my in laws cottage for a few days. During that time we installed some recessed lighting in the living room to give the space some more light. I volunteered to go up into the attic to run the wire and connect it to the switch that was previously installed.

The cottage has a metal roof and the attic space is very small and cramped, so it was hot as crap up there that day.

I wore a thin long sleeved shirt and a respirator because of the pink batt insulation and sweat was literally dripping off my face and onto the attic floor.

A few times up there I felt like I was overheating and had to slow down a bit. It's lucky that it was done in May and not now in the middle of summer, when it really hot outside. I don't think that I could take it for more than 10-15 minutes at a time if I were to have done it today.

Anyway, I made a video up there for something a little different and figured that I'd try to post it. Okay, enough preamble, on to the video. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve seen so many pictures of Canada
It’s a beautiful place
I’m glad you had fun

Fun might be a bit of a stretch 😜

Splendid one handed work whilst filming!

Haha thanks. So much dexterity 😂
The video was a bit of an experiment. I just need more interesting things to film 😆

Well, at least you know your 3 Speak works.
You're so brave to do all that electrical work. It's one area of maintenance that I'll NEVER touch.
I felt your discomfort from looking at the photo, and I agree that doing it in May was better.

Installation is something that I know little about cos, it's never a priority in Jamaica, but from what I see Pink Batt is some solid stuff. I'll remember that!

I'm always a little nervous when I do electrical work and only do very simple tasks.

Yeah pink insulation is made of fibreglass and when it gets old and breaks down it gets into the air. It can make you itchy. I wouldn't want to breath it in if I can avoid it
