A beautiful warm morning at this Pacific Ocean beach in Mexico. Waves and shadows. No one else around.

It seems the perfect time for playing in the waves

But wait! Look closer.

What lurks beneath the deep blue sea?

I think the low angle of the sun was allowing better visibility into the water.

How many fish do you see?

The pelicans know that it's the best time of day for breakfast!

It might be a good time to consider a swim in the pool!

I'm always mesmerized by the colours of the water, dancing between blue and turquoise, very beautiful.
There should be so many aquatic animals and plants lurking beneath, especially the fishes. I'm sure the eagles are going a-fishing.

That's why I prefer the shallower and calmer Caribbean side where you can see everything swimming even fifty yards away! Sharks like to hunt in the waves which is why they sometimes accidentally bite people! Very cool pictures!

The kids captured some cool moments (not kids for me, lol). I remember you saying your son and daughter in law were on the holiday so these might be their captures, right?

Sadly I saw no pelican with any fish in the mouth. : (

Ha! Mothers always see their children as kids even when they are sn old married man with kids of their own! You are right, they took these pictures.

Pelicans dive into the water, scoop up a fish into their expansive pouch, then come to the surface to eat it.
