There are times (most of the times actually) that I come back from the woods with more photos than mushrooms in a basket. Even though I do go mainly to pick some. I guess I would have to leave the camera at home to concentrate just on that one task, but please... I would be so pissed off every time I see a nice one and I just have to leave it alone without even a tiny little photo.. So pissed off!
So I drag my bazooka with me and I shoot almost every little shroom I see.
Quite normal :D
The little orange ones were visible from a distance. Especially after the rain that made all shiny and slimy (I think.. I didn't touch them! Again forgot to do the one thing!).
And looks like they are quite tasty too. At least for some little forest creatures. My guess it is a slugs job.
A little group here and tere. The forest floor is full or rotten pieces of wood and they obviously loved it. A little lower you will see them growing directly from a falling apart stump.
The birth of a new life is a dirty, dirty job. Isn't it? :p
And here is the stump. Isn't it gorgeous with al the moss hanging on it? And then the tiny little orange hats. Gotta love all the colours!
One more for the road.
Not exactly the same type, not as orange as the other ones, but it was there next door so it got shot as well.
But what a minute..
What is that dark brown shiny thing? Can you see it?
All snuggled between mosses?
Oh yes - it is one of the delicious Boletus. This little guy went home with me :)
Yum!!
