OFFICIAL POST HERE:
It has been a while since I posted anything. I tend to go into the shadows sometimes.
Today I purchased 16grams of a rich sativa strain called Dr. Grinspoon named after Dr. Lester Grinspoon. To be frank I have no idea who this person is other than hearing he is the godfather of the medical marijuana movement.
To be fair I haven't read anything or at least I think I haven't, of any of the doc's work.
The aroma is pleasant and relaxing. I hit it a couple times and my head was opened to ideas. Definitely relieved some mental stress.
From what I read it said it is good for spinal injury and I hope it keeps to its word because I have had that before and now I have scoliosis which I am trying mend my body out of with appropriate exercises. But sometimes to feel a normal body without any pain, natural medicine is in order.
This batch was grown in a greenhouse by professionals at growing cannabis with many years of experience as this plant is not for novice growers. So it says. I wouldn't really know. I don't consider myself a professional.
Stick it in the ground and add water food and just do your best to take care of it. But maybe this particular blend is not meant for outdoor grows. But I am curious how it will do.
I don't see any seeds in any of the small buds, but who knows I may get lucky. Even if it's a male I can grow it next to my other strains and make a hybrid out of it the next generation. That would be exciting to see.
So who is this Doctor and why is he important to cannabis community?
Well apparently, according to the webby, he was one of the first doctors who pushed cannabis to be accepted in medicine use and wide spread adoption of medical studies for cannabis. So there's that. We may have him to thank for what we have today available. Maybe Godfather of cannabis does suit him well then.
I only just found his famous book "Reconsider Marijuana" on the internet archive.
Available for free for all to read and download.
I think I'll very much enjoy reading this later. A scientist who isn't biased about his research is a plus in my book shelf.
I remember how I always received the image of marijuana during my youngling days to be something evil. Those who consumed the product were bad. How wrong I was. Very wrong, and very incorrect.
For one day I decided to be evil and smoke a joint to stick it to the man lol. But whoa and behold did my mind open up to new imagination and creativity that first time and many more to come.
Stress levels gone, new perspectives was in. This weed was not like it was advertised to me. I felt happy and hungry. I was alive with a new feeling of ecstasy unlike the what the neighbors had going on with their pills, my mind was made clear and open for new ideas to pour in, unlike little Suzie nextdoor.
Anyways, just wanted to share that book. I wouldn't have probably looked into if I never took the bold step to becoming a psychopath psychoco|naughty
