Internet exploration of mine

We are living in a digital world, and the technology is very developed, and the advancement of technology in the last few decades was very impressive, which was like magic because nobody imagined that technological advancement would reach the current position. The Internet is one of those developments that played a very significant role in technological advancement.

And when I was little, the word "internet" was not a popular word, and very few people were acknowledged about it. As a kid, I was always curious about playing games. Snake game, bounce game were my favorites, but on my mother's mobile none of the games were available. I heard that if I go to the computer shop, they could install the game on my mother's mobile from the internet. I saved money for it also, but I never got the opportunity because it was impossible for me to take my mother's mobile into the shop. Till that time, the internet was just an illusion for me.

When I admitted to class 8, my father gave me a mobile for the communication. All though in that mobile there were 2 games but I always had the desire to play a lot of games on my mobile, but I had no idea how to install any game on my mobile as I had no knowledge about where to download games. From one of my classmates, I was able to know that there was a website from which many games could be downloaded. I can't remember the name of the website, but I noted the name immediately after hearing that. I knew how to buy a data pack; after returning home, I bought a data pack of 7 MB that cost me 2 cents only. You may be laughing to hear that, but it was real, and spending the 7 MB in one day was difficult. I could see the internet sign, which was "E".

Without making any kind of delay, I entered the website. There was a game feature, and I clicked it, and after trying one hour, I was able to install a cricket game. It was the first time I downloaded something from the internet, and do you know how proud I was at that time? I feel like I have done something for which I waited for many years, which means I could download many games as much as I can. The feeling was one of the greatest feelings in my life, and I knew that some rare person at my age could do that. In fact, the senior could not do that either. So downloading the game gave me the feeling I had achieved something huge in my life.

It was just a matter of time before I downloaded many games on my mobile and played all of those. That's the thing I wanted to do since childhood. I achieved my dream, and when I started to explore other features, I could download music and videos. From that website I found some other website names also, and that's how I started to know about several websites as well as started to explore the internet. From time to time, I acknowledged about Facebook and some other social media. Creating an account on Facebook was an accident, which I created out of curiosity, and interestingly, I am still using the same account. Unfortunately, I stopped using Facebook because, at that time, our senior citizens used to consider it bad when someone used the internet or Facebook. Now such a thing seems ridiculous because, at the current time, nobody thinks that someone is at work because of using the internet. People think then smart who are using the Internet properly. I am remembering this, and that brought a smile to my face because it's just a matter of time thoughts of humans changed.

Sometimes I feel surprised thinking that I was just a person who had the desire to download lots of games and play those. From that respect, I can say that playing games was the spark for mine, and it converted into fire with time as I started to explore more about the internet. That's how I started the journey of exploring the internet, and I came to the current position to have at least some knowledge about the internet.
