Hi, everyone!

You are kindly invited to participate in TRAVEL CONTEST #28 and the theme today is "Black and White" :)

Feel free to interpret the theme in every way you like, I hope to inspire more people to join this contest round!

One entry per person.
To enter, upload your photo(s) and text into the comment section below. There's no need to create a separate post.
In order to be considered, an entry should consist of at least one photo and your personal story/info/memory.
All the photos you use to enter the contest must be your own and taken by yourself.
All the text you enter must be written by yourself in English.
Deadline: One week starting from the datetime of the contest announcement.
No NSFW content.

Prizes:

One Winner will be set as 40% beneficiary of the post including the winners announcement.
One Honorable Mention will be set as 10% beneficiary of the post including the winners announcement.
All winning and mentioned accounts will be followed, periodically reviewed and their best works upvoted.

Notes:

If you decide to create a separate post, you may include the link to it inside your entry but that post won't be considered as part of the contest entry itself.
Please be fair! If you have multiple accounts, enter the contest with only one of them. All abusers will be permanently banned from the contest.

Back in 2014, I spent a week in Porto. I walked and walked, pretty much around the same familiar places.
The Torre dos Clérigos is one of the favorite spots for anyone who wants to see the city from the heights. The 240 steps you have to climb are worth the effort.
I took this photo to ask myself: "will I be able to get to the top?." It surely was motivational.

Hi! I want to participate with the picture, that I took at the Larnaca airport (Cyprus). I just stood and waited for my family in the airport hall and noticed how the light and shadows fell on the floor. It seemed to me that this is a great subject for a black and white photograph.

Hi there :)
This is my entry for Travel contest #28 on the theme "Black and White".

In keeping with the winter weather, I'd like to present a flower that blooms this time of year in Southeast Europe. In nature, the colors of the snowdrop are green and white, which fits very well in black and white photography.
I hope you will like my perspective that represents a combination of bokeh background with the black and white colors of the snowdrop.
