COOKING OR FASTFOOD? // THE ONE MAKES MY LIFE EASIER

For some of us, we're concerned about the processes that go into making our foods. And while we agree that cooking is not one of those activities that lights up our day, there's still the looming reservations and sentiments on getting fast foods.

Personally, I never have and it doesn't look like I would have to patronize a roadside food vendor. No condemnations. For some of the few times i watched one/two pf these vendors prepare their meals, i wasmt intrigued. The preparation schematics didnt appeal to what i would have wanted.
Sometimes too, i think that its not about those people i had seen back then. Maybe its just that i always had to eat home prepred meals. I visit restaurants, the popular brands, and although i think that this is quite contradicting(even to me), yet, it's a different feeling for me. These days, i think of it, especially when i have to do the debate with myself on what to eat at achool, and i can not tell what made me not ever try their meals, i just know the feeling is deep-seated.

I say it, as much as I have to, that I don't like to cook. Of course I cook well. And I say it too that if I had the outsource whatever, I would gladly do so. Just giving out an amount for my food to be prepared and brought to me while I stock my kitchen up. Who wouldn't want to ease that stress of having to go by the market, source for food items, prep them and sigh through all that heat?

I rarely get to patronize food vendors, but with a tight schedule, I don't see why I shouldn't. Cause why else am I working so hard if it's not to ease my burden and make my life easier?

Cooking is work. A not so easy yet not so difficult work. With what I have to deal with daily, I'd easily jump on the easy choice of having fast food. You know, it's all convenient. But asides finance, which I must consider, the quality of food and hygiene practices by those who handle the food is important. And then too, my disinterest.

I promise you, I'm going around in circles in my head. I don't like cooking but I like to cook. For me. More out of concern. Just making stuff in one big batch to last me a while. Can't explain exactly how but it'd leave me feeling good.

There are perks to having to make food myself. A number of them. Maybe I would not visit a fastfood daily. I don't assume that i can manage that way of life, and I don't even see the sense and ease in that but then, I may just contract a chef or food-house to run me a variety of meals as I choose. Thereafter, I will only have to deal with microwaving the food and stuffing my belly with.
Its good enough for me. So, maybe once a while, if I feel the need the make something home made, I'll fix it myself.

I really enjoyed reading your post. You have tried to highlight many important points in today's post, many important points have been brought forward but it is much better that you have tried to highlight two topics separately.

Cooking is not like work for the people who enjoy it like me. But it is true that many parts of the world are forgetting to cook sue tot their busy schedule which is a big reason for obesity and many health issues the world is facing now as commercial food items are made more delicious with many unhealthy ingredients.
