It is another day to bring my weekly report as one of the team leaders for this batch of hive newbies initiative, as usual, our meetings are always held every Sunday and this is the second-week report for the initiative.
The meeting was held at exactly 8 pm on the newbies initiative discord channel hosted by @starstrings01 and @nkemakonam89 was the tutor for the day, the topic was HIVE GUIDELINES AND MARKDOWN, she spoke extensively on hive guidelines, what are the do's and dont's of hive?
We all know that Hive has its own rules and regulations and if anyone disobeys any of these rules it can lead to losing of account, which means all efforts are wasted, when it comes to plagiarism, hive doesn't condone laziness, you can never plagiarise on hive, plagiarism means copy another person's work without giving reference to their work.
Also, she mentioned vote begging, this is one of the things newbies do not understand, they all believe that when they published their first post and saw ocdb gave them a high vote, they tend to tag ocdb, and all the people who their vote are high on hive, this is called vote begging, tagging people all in the name of vote is highly prohibited on hive.
Also, she mentioned and explained the meaning of tags, and the communities in which newbies can write, she explained the usefulness of tags and how it is very important, for instance newbie can just publish a post that is irrelevant to the community and this can lead to not getting anything on that post because he or she doesn't use the right tag for the post.
Now let's move to markdown, how does it work on hive, markdown is just the way of arranging our post, how to make our post readable and also attract readers on hive, you must learn how to use the appropriate question marks, how to center your works and how to use headers on hive, this all entails the meeting we had in the previous week.
In my team, I have 9 members and 8 of them responded to the task, after the tutorial, a task was given to them and they all performed excellently, this was not just a task but just to test their knowledge about what they were taught during the tutorial, I was glad to see my team members performing so great.
These are my team members with their post links for task 2

My utmost appreciation goes to the host of the initiative and also to the tutor of this task, my colleagues, and the sponsors of this initiative, I appreciate you all.
