Blood Donation Camp and PTM @school, IAAC - 810

Thanks God for wonderful day.
Today is day 810 of participation,

This weekend was nice as weather had changed a bit. We have some relief form hot weather because of intermediate showers last week. We were expecting more rain but everything does not happened as per our wish. I have not posted on this account form sone time which is dedicated to my kid Gurseerat. Some time we become more busy in real life and we have some other priorities also. Last week their was an even in Gurseerat's school and she also got a chance to participate in it. The school organized a blood donation camp and combine the same with parent teacher meeting. It is a good initative and school is doing it form last couple of years as I can remember form last 6 to 8 years. Combining it with parent teacher meeting means they can encourage parents also to donate blood. Gurseerat told me strictly to come as she along with other kids will perform on a song. They was practicing form couple of week and that was the reason she qas spending one extra hour in school. That was good that school take care that their regular work should not get interfered by the event practice that's the reason they take the practice session after the school. Those type of activities are very essential for the growth of kids, they get the more exposer and fear of stage also not worther them. I appreciate the initative of school and also want to participate but because of some reason I was not able to donate blood but going to school and seeing Gurseerat's performance was one event, I can not effort to miss.

It was off from school so kids went to school with their kids. As per tye schedule the kids participating in performance must reach school by 10 am and the rest may come by 11 am as the teacher will be available for meeting after 11 only. We reached on time and after parking the vehicle we entered in the school. Some of the students and teachers were standing just after the school entrance to guiding the kids an parents. As per guidance I left the Gurseerat with other kids in a room with her instructor. I come to know that class teacher will be available after 11am only and the time form performance is also after 10.15 am. We were asked to wait in one class room just beside the room we left the Gurseerat. Some other parents were also waiting their and I was feeling like I am back in school and sitting in class room lol. The were playing a video on projector which was about the school and the achievement of student. Some portion of video covers the glimps of different events in school. It was intresting to know more about the schools achievements and extra curriculum activities.

Aftet waiting for 15 - 20 minutes a teacher comes to us to inform that the performance by kids is going to start in couple of minutes. The decorate one place with slogan regarding the blood donation and kids were performing in front of same. Before performance of Gurseerat's group, two other groups performed and all of them looks so cute. It's alway fun to watch little kids performing live. Here the third group come and all set. The sound was played and they started dancing. The class teacher was guiding them by standing in front of them but in a position were she was out of recording view. Yes the school was recording the performance. I also took the opportunity to capture the moment and also recorded the video. Don't forget to watch the same.
