Hello Wednesday walkers.
I am glad to share with you a fun winter story for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.
I did my daily walk in the park near my home. The most interesting place there is the small zoo, which brings joy to both children and us older ones. This is where I spent most of my time. The weather was sunny, but unfortunately cold and windy, so not many visitors. However, it is January in Southeast Europe and I couldn't have asked for more.
At the entrance, there are two kiosks that offer drinks and food, as well as sweet treats for the kids.
The zoo is small. Here live birds, two bears, deer, and wild goats. Luckily, despite the windy weather, the animals were out for a walk, even bathing in the cold water. Despite the cages, which give the impression of a prison, the animals here live in indoor heated rooms and the staff take very good care of them. The only thing I couldn't see were the bears, but I guess they are hibernating.
Instead of the real bears, I would like to introduce you to a wonderful statue and drawing :)
I did manage to get a few shots of two families who, despite the ban on feeding animals, still managed to give them some food :)
A little further up in the park, there is a playground called "Peter Pan" that is built a few meters above the earth, connecting several trees. It's made of ropes in the form of bridges, which you cross from one tree to another. It looks unsafe, but also quite fun. There's always a specially trained instructor here to make sure everyone is safe.
On the green grass fields in the park, there are metal figures of characters from famous children's fairy tales. I remember the figures from my childhood and am glad they have lasted through the years :)
For the more inquisitive guests of the park, there is a special wooden box with various books that everyone can take and enjoy reading on one of the sunny benches.
On a large green grass area, there are children's swings, carousels, and other fun games, as well as benches for parents.
I hope you enjoyed today's photo walk with me and my camera.
Stay safe and never stop dreaming.
Yours,
George
The truest art is what we create from the bottom of our hearts. According to the norms of society, some of us are born with the talent to create art and some of us aren't. I completely disagree with this comprehension.
I believe every human being has her/his own unique way of expression and it is not necessary to be born with the talent of a poet, writer, painter, or composer. Each of us could express hers/his view of the world in words and pictures. And if you can't paint, dance, or sing, just describe your feelings, memories, and dreams in your own words and color them with pictures you have taken yourself.
This is the unique advantage of Hive over all social platforms.
Here, you don't have to pose as who society expects you to be. On Hive you can be yourself with all your disadvantages and no one will judge you for not following the "standard". Because on Hive there are as many "standards" as the number of the members of this blockchain society.
