Happy Sunday lovelies,I'm glad to share this beautiful conceptual work with you, it was created few weeks back,the idea was created out of my personal background,I'm so connected to this and I hope it connects to somebody else out there.
It talks about Time, how time flies, I come from a background where we believe patience is everything and in most cases, we slack, I was brought up in such a way I started believing people who outsmarts or who are vivacious are rash till time passed us by like a loosed horse🐎,then I realised there's a thin line between patience and time wasting, see opportunity pass us, I'm 13 today the next minute I'm 30,then I noticed I was moving nowhere very fast,I jacked back to life, adjusted what I've been thought that was my weakness to be my strength.
Over time as an artist,this brought me to create this piece which I believe perfectly explains this idea that burns within me, the horse with a chain clock represents how time moves, the desert represents what would be left of s life that slacks watching time run by with a FRUITLESS tree
I'm in no way againt PATIENCE but sometimes your TIMING can be wrong, IF IT'S YOURS IT WILL COME BACK, if it's yours,it may not come back, opportunities should be seized.
I made this work with pen on a 3by2½ feet canvas,of course it was challenging and strenuous due to the medium and size,how I tried to blend the strokes of the skies using different attractive colours and depicting the cloud, the body of the horse was a bit difficult too,trying to create every strands of the hair flowing to directions and lastly the blue clock at the right hand side below the art piece
