This is my post for #freewriters 2489 prompt fill it to the brim hosted by @mariannewest

I was pulling weeds today, I know that is no surprise since that is all I do anymore. Anyway, I pulled back some plastic weed matt and saw these oval shaped eggs. I touched one and it felt spongey. I got my husband to come look at them and he said he was sure they were some type of snake eggs.

Since I had uncovered them and pulled all the weeds from around them we got a plastic container with a lid that my husband put holes in and I put some of the soil that they were lying on in the bottom, I was careful not to turn the eggs and put them in it. Now they are in the house where maybe they can hatch and we can release them. My husband thinks they are either black snake or rat snake eggs. When I Google lens the photo it tried to tell me they are poultry eggs, we do not think this is true.

This morning there was not a cloud in the sky so I took the cover off of the pool. I do this so when I get in it in the afternoon, it will be warm. My back had all of the weed pulling that I could stand so I went in the house to rest for a few minutes and change to my swimsuit, when I went back outside I saw the sky had turned black and it had started to thunder so I guess there will be no pool for me today.

I do not fill the pool all the way to the top because I never know how much it will rain and if we get enough rain to fill it to the brim, it will bust the seams.

I have decided that if we want it to rain, I only need to uncover the pool. I was looking forward to getting into it. When I lay suspended in the water it takes all of the pressure from my back, it feels so good. Maybe I can get in it tomorrow.
