Las Vegas Part 2
Traveling is really fun and one of the best things in life. Although i kind of hate the plane ride sometimes. I almost got a bit nauseous on the way to Vegas (from Chicago), when the plane started the descend. Something about the sudden slowing down just gets my body in a certain state. I started to get quite sweaty....
just praying for the forsaken Tin Can, to just land.
But once landed, i was ok. Took some time, but after the taxi ride to the hotel, i just about was almost back to normal.
So my last post, i mostly covered my first day there. When i got to the hotel, did some activities, had some good meals, etc...
After the presentation....
So on last post, i mentioned that we got dragged into a sales presentation. Afterwards we headed to a spot called the El Cortez, which is a famous spot there because it was owned by a mobster named Bugsy Siegal. The 1st picture here on this post, is from the restaurant there called Siegals 1941, where we had a good lunch. I took another picture there, not a great 1 tho...
After the meal, we literally walked a few feet away to the bar in the Casino.
A cool spot where we met a nice Cuban gentleman. We talked about some things and had a nice conversation while i sipped on a Jack and Coke....
a classic....
Then i took a picture outside by the El Cortez, a pretty cool spot in my opinion. We put 40 bucks into the Buffalo Slow machine but didnt get lucky at all.
Moving Forward to the center of the Strip
Well, first....this picture is from Fremont street which is technically Old Vegas. Pretty cool, with the famous canopy above which is like a giant LED screen with lights and designs, while people Zipline under it. Lots of music and street performers.
So now on, to the Strip...
Here we got the Bellagio and Ceasars Palace in the background, i actually liked the way these came out. Would surely be better pictures if i had a nice updated camera but these are just from my phone.
From there we proceded to walk back towards the North side of the strip, where our hotel was located. I took a few more pictures while we walked through Ceasars.
Around this time, while we kept walking my phone died. Theres some more pictures we took, but the girl i was with hasnt sent them to me yet.
We ended the night relaxing in the Hot Tub, outside, surrounded by the skyline, palm trees, and the Vegas atmosphere...ahhhh. Nice time there, and hoping to go again soon.
And perfect time to wrap up this post too.
Rock On and thanks to the WorldMapPin community.
