On my second tour I visited the Basilica of St. Nicholas (Basiliek Van de Heilige Nicolaas).
Today is my day off from work and I did several tours in the streets of Amsterdam to show you little by little.
I visited the Basilica of St. Nicholas for this tour I went walking as it is quite close to home, there are several times I had entered here but this time focused on the details to photograph every corner of the church.

For me, this was the most impressive, and I could have stayed for hours contemplating its beautiful interior, without getting tired of the quality of everything inside.
Admission is free and it is well worth seeing. The interior is very beautiful. Attention with the schedules, because they are reduced, I loved doing this tour in this majestic work of art, every detail, every painting is impressive.

En mi segundo recorrido visité la Basilica de San Nicolas (Basiliek Van de Heilige Nicolaas)
Hoy es mi día libre del trabajo e hice varios recorridos en las calles de Ámsterdam para ir mostrandoles poco a poco.
Visité la Basilica San Nicolas para este recorrido me fui caminando ya que me queda bastante cerca de casa, hay en varias ocasiones había entrado aquí pero esta vez enfocada en los detalles para fotografìar cada lincon de la iglesia.
La Basilica San Nicolas queda ubicada en el centro de Ámsterdam y está cerca de la estación de trenes, San Nicolas es considerado en Holanda el Santo patrón para la iglesia como para la ciudad de Ámsterdam siendo así la primera iglesia Romana de la ciudad.
En si interior en oscuro pero cuando ya se acostumbra a ir seguido se puede observar hermosas creaciones como las decoraciones, las vidrieras, esculturas y pinturas murales, es impresionante la bellaza y ni hablar del lado más alto en su interior es toda una obra de arte.
Esta iglesia fue creada en el sigo XIX en un momento donde los católicos romanos podían volver a profesar su fe en público después de tres siglos de prohibición cabe destacar que la arquitectura y el mobiliario la proclaman con orgullo y este ha sido el primer edificio más antiguo de Ámsterdam.

Tanto en la plata que tiene al frente y la edificación de zona todo es un espectáculo y de noche se puede apreciar brillante con el efecto de las luces, para visitar Ámsterdam es imprescindible hacer tours por la Basilica. Desde la calle se puede apreciar lo majestuosa que es pero una vez dentro puedes observar todos los detalles sorprendentes que componen esta obra arquitectónica.
La Basilica de San Nicolás, es uno de los monumentos que por su fachada, alardea de ser uno de los monumentos más fotografiados de Amsterdam, y si lo visitas te encontrarás con un arte espectacular y muy característico de la idiosincrasia de los locales.
Por fuera, es muy conocida y poco hay que añadir, pero me he llevado una grata sorpresa al conocer su interior, me dio una probada de como la arquitectura interna del lugar, refleja bien la idiosincrasia de la gente de los Países Bajos, pero, ¿Por que? pues bien, es verdad que es una iglesia católica y que por tanto respeta el culto Romano, pero está adaptada a la forma particular de la personalidad del neerlandées, luces, colores vivos, libres de ornamentación pesada. Esta visión contrasta con la ya típica muestra Española de Ermitas, donde las iglesias se asemejan más a claustros.
Para mi, esto fue lo más impactante, y podría haberme quedado horas contemplando su precioso interior, sin cansarme de la calidad de todo lo que está adentro.
La entrada es gratuita y vale la pena conocerla. El interior es muy bonito. Atención con los horarios, porque son reducidos, me encantó hacer este recorrido en esta majestuosa obra de arte, cada detalle, cada pintura es impresionante.
