Golden glow of the mountains.

No, this is not Mars as it is right here in South Africa.

The flow of the cloud topping enhanced the sights and I will also show how a rising cloud flows over a radio signal mountain.

The beauty of nature cannot be described adequately in human language, as there are too many variants that can leave us speechless with wonder.
So whenever I see sights like this, I can only let my camera talk to your soul.

This is the Western Cape Province and it is the famous Hottentots Holland mountain range. A very old and historical mountain range. They reckon the mountains are 510 million years old. Source

Google will tell you that the first settlers dragged their ox wagons and animals with ropes over this mountain on a trek inland.

Right, here we go and watch that rising cloud at the left as it flows towards the signal mountain at the right.

The cloud rises high here below,

And then it collapsed to flow gently over the mountain.

Beautiful to watch the cloud flowing over the mountain and another cloud was on it's way, but the light was getting too dark for photography.

Just a final beautiful view.

So not only will you find beautiful wine farms and fruit farms at this side of the mountain, at the other side are the apple farm valleys.
The mountain range runs across the back of a bay and ends in the ocean. Many of the farms have 5 star restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The weather at this time of year is nice and sunny and for instance here are the temperatures for this week, Monday to Saturday, 27C, 28C, 29C, 30C, 30C and Saturday 32C.

Indeed a place to put on your travel list and don't forget to bring sunscreen and your swimming gear to relax under the sun on the white sands of the beaches.

And That's All Friends.

what a amazing fog, next time try to record a time lapse, it would show the cloud moment in a fantastic way

Too far away for my zoom to record a time lapse as the light is bad.

I'm guessing people crossed those mountains long before the first settlers came by with wagons. I wonder what they looked like 500 million years ago?

Your thoughts are the same as mine. Apparently a nation called the Khoi-San were the very first and early residents of the area. I don't think there was any before them.
They must have crossed the mountains before the settlers arrived.
500 million years ago, Australia and South America were still a part of the African continent. Called Gondwana land at the time.
No idea what the mountains looked like then.

I forgot they were joined back then. I guess that makes sense on the westernside. Interesting to think you could cross those mountains and end up in Argentina.

Ha, at that times there were no humans around methinks.
But it is still amazing that all was once just one. I read an article where they explained how the plates below ground shifted and then the ocean forced its way in to split the continent.
Interesting that those plates were shifted upwards by the force of the water and they rose to form the mountains.

looks very amazing golden mountains and clouds

Correct says there are some places where beauty cannot be described in human language. I like these kind of mountain areas a lot more. The pleasure or feeling of watching the scenes from a distance is completely different. The mountains in particular and the clouds associated with it look amazing. You made a lot of beautiful photos and you must have enjoyed the place.

The place is right here my friend and yes, the mountains offer many pleasures when I can keep an eye on them. Close up is always better but like I said elsewhere it was late and the light was fading.
I do indeed enjoy all of nature.

Wow, it is so beautiful boss and sometimes I do wonder how you take this pictures. Great work and do keep it up

That's amazing. Hope to see it with my own eyes one day.😍

Thank you and yes who knows? Maybe you will see it one day.

A beautiful view I never know that there is sure beauty in South Africa 🌍.😍

Oh yes, many countries across the African continent have stunning nature scenes.

Wow beautiful.

I love this band of clouds over the mountain and along the top. The other cloud looks like it is climbing up to the signal station and the last one looks like a bridge of clouds - cool 🤩

That's too hot for me - I would prefer it being freezing cold and would wear gloves and a thick coat 😁

!BEER and !WINE - both make a nice dinner with !PIZZA :)

Thank you Hannes and yes, I also loved how that cloud approached the signal mountain. The flow was great to see.

Hot here my friend and today I couldn't even get out to take photos.
Tomorrow we are visiting the guy that restored that old red truck, as he has invited me to come and take photos of his old cars collection.
Maybe I could even get to drive one 😉

People are proud to show me their collections.

Cheers and thanks.

That sounds like tomorrow's going to be a very exciting day for you, my friend. I wish you much fun and hopefully you can drive such a beautiful old car 🤞

!PIZZA and !BEER - sounds like a nice dinner :)

Thank you and it was a great visit Hannes.
He lives in a complex that was built on a farm and he welcomed us very friendly.
I found many treasures there and posted the first story today.

I did the post in the photo lovers community via ecency and I think that I should rather start to post directly in the communities, as the value of my post is low.

Cheers and thanks.

I have seen thepost and that car looks amazing.

I don't know if it's better to use the community tag or to post directly there, but you can give it a try to see.

Thank you kindly 🙏

Yep, I tried to post directly right after we talked and no, it is for some reason even worse.
So I will rather stick to what I know.

Cheers and thanks.
