Finding motivation in worrying situations.

I'm sure y'all know that people who have forged their paths in whatever industry they find themselves have stories to tell about their journey and the series of experiences they've gained while on that journey. Their story is highly inspiring and that isn't a surprise because we can all see that they are already successful.

I'm big on learning and my learning goes as far as trying to know what people have to share about their life and their experiences. One of the things I pay good attention to is discussion about things that motivate people. Everyone has one of those and these motivations are the things that make people go out to do whatever they do each day.

To be fair, some of the things that motivate people sound more glamorous than others. I listened to a podcast where a Movie producer mentioned "family" as one of the things that motivates him. I can relate to that because I've found myself doing so much in my attempt to give a blissful life to my family. Even when I was still in my school days, the thought of making my family proud of my results gave me the push to aim high and give my best.

So, I'm all about being motivated by family. I also understand people who say they are motivated by the desire to be successful.

Another motivating element that I've noticed about myself is something that is not as extreme as "anxiety", but it's closely tied to it. I often find myself being worried about so many things and I've managed to use these worries as a motivation for me to push hard enough until I achieve what I want.

For example, I know I'm amazing at what I do. I'm also very creative and I'm often ready to break myself in half if that's what it will take to hit goals in any project I'm getting into. I have a lot of qualities that tick as positive markers, yet I often get worried about a lot of things.

At this very moment, I'm genuinely worried that my current financial position may be the place I will be stuck in for the rest of my life.

Having that deep worry about my present and the future is something I can't help because I'm hyper in touch with my subconscious. Even when I'm busy doing stuff, I still go into that deep worrying thought. I know from experience that having that on the extreme can lead to anxiety. Thankfully, mine have been taking a route that makes it more of a blessing.

The fact that I worry about elevating myself as a person, elevating my Finances, and making life better for my family has played a big part in keeping me motivated.

I tap into that to keep myself going even when the odds are not in my favor. For that same reason, I've been nursing the idea of exploring opportunities outside Nigeria. I previously took steps in that direction, but it didn't yield the desired fruit. I'm going to give it more shots and I hope something inspiring comes out of it when the time comes.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

It's a nice perspective, our worries and anxieties, being a driving force for motivation. I didn't really think about that before. 😄 In that way, I think I also get motivated by my worries. I just have to remind myself not to be consumed by it.

Lol... This is the truth for many people. The worries we have about things going wrong or about living in poverty gives us the push to aim really high and give our best in order to achieve goals. Haha

Exactly. constant worries and failures take a toll on human mental health. But i think man should undertsand better that what he has is better and to achieve more success, he must work harder. Without fear of any failure.

True. It's understandable that we can get worried about things happening around us. It's all part of life. However, like you said, we need to keep working hard even when faced with worrying situations
