While it is important that we attain mastery, it is worth noting that not everyone will get to 'master' their crafts or be masters in their respective fields or career. Why? This is so because not everyone is ready to pay the price for mastery.
To gain mastery, there is always a price to pay. Mastery doesn't come on a platter of gold. Show me a man that has mastered his skills and is excellent at what he does, I will show someone who has put so much work into learning and studying.

There is always room for improvement so be open and devoted to learning. The only day you should stop learning is the day you die. In other words, no one outgrows learning except a man that doesn't desire growth. Keep learning because the more about your craft that you know, the better.
Consistency is king. In attaining mastery, you have to be consistent and focused. You cannot achieve anything when you lack consistency and persistency.
Have a mentor: Someone else has already done what you are currently doing or what you intend to do. Some people are already experts. Locate these people and learn from their wealth of knowledge and experience. It becomes easier to become a master when you learn from masters.

Mastery separates you from the crowd and makes you stand out. Master causes you to be easily noticed where others are struggling to be seen. Above all, mastery is a propeller that brings you before great personalities. Mastery gives a seat at the table of masters.
Therefore, choose a niche and spend your time getting deeper into it. Stay consistent and be devoted to learning from people who have trodden the path. That way, you will attain mastery for yourself.
