Hello everyone

I hope you all are doing fine. This time i am not going to write a travel blog nor a gaming blog but a movie review. Yeah, a few months back one of my hive fella incublus in their show hive with incublus talked about a movie THE LORD OF THE RINGS which i decided to watch. And today i am here to take you people along on a journey through middle-earth in the company of hobbits, elves, dwarfs and also more plot twists than the turns in a maze.

From here onwards there might be some spoilers for you people if you have somehow missed this fantastic movie series.

The main quest of the movie is to destroy a ring holding so much power which is enough to destroy all the middle earth. The two hobbits FRODO and SAM have this quest appointed by GANDALF the wizard. Later on joined by ARAGORN (the real king's heir), LEGALOS (the elf), GIMLIN (the dwarf), and two more hobbits MERRY and PIPPIN.

Let's introduce you people to the major characters in the movie.

  • FRODO BAGGINS

The appointed protagonist of the movie. It would be easy for you to understand that just imagine of a friend who is least interested in adventures and outside world has the quest of saving the entire middle earth and life on it.

  • SAMWISE GAMGEE

Ah, the real MVP and a loyal friend we all need in our life. Always having the bags full of loyalty and motivation. Just say that if you have a friend like sam you can capture the throne in game of thrones without any dragon. The main person behind FRODO'S success.

  • GOLLUM/SMEAGOL

When we all are in search of a friend like SAM here we have friends like GOLLUM. His act in the movie is more like our ex who keeps on coming back because of our wealth ring saying they have changed but ends up deceiving us.

  • ARAGORN

The ancient batman with more swordplay but sadly he doesn't had any gadgets otherwise the movie series might be shorter than it is now. A guy with so much spirit and always be helpful along with the company of legalos and gimling.

  • GANDALF

Hmmm, how to make you understand this character if you haven't watched the movie? Ah yes, think of dumbledor from harry potter but a little but grumpier and habbit of pipe smoking.

STRENGTH OF MOVIE

  • WORLD BUILDING

The movie expresses middle earth and the species living within it but it has been done so greatly that it feels like a whole universe being built in there. If you watch the movie the distance from shire (FRODO'S PLACE) to MORDOR (SAURON'S PLACE) is not so much or it seems like. But still the placement of events and actions between travelling shows it like they travelled a whole universe to cover that distance.

  • THEMES

This movie i could say that has covered every kind of theme including love, friendship, sacrifice, revenge, battle between the good and evel. Although some themes are minor but still you people would love seeing them. The main reason to love this movie is the variety of themes present in it.

  • LANGUAGE

I just loved the use of language in this movie. How Aragorn speaks English and elvish at the perfect times. Also GANDALF speaking in riddles at times is worth listening to. I would like to narrate a dialogue of my favourite character here

I CAN'T CARRY IT FOR YOU, BUT I CAN CARRY YOU

The ring had the power to manipulate anyone holding it so Sam when not allowed to carry the ring carried his friend Frodo when he was fully tired.

My precious

This two words dialogue is the most dangerous, most loving, most evil dialogue in the movie and i would love it if you people find yourself what it is about.

HUMOUR IN THE MOVIE

  • LEGOLAS AND GIMLI'S RIVALRY

The movie shows a concept that elves and dwarfs don't like eachother yet these two had to fight by eachother's side. Their competition of kills, some sarcasms thrown at eachother are full of delights and can make you laugh at times especially the character of gimli.

  • PIPPIN AND MERRY

These two hobbits just love to eat and when they conquered Isengard they found a treasure. What was that treasure? A kitchen where they found weed and decided to share it with treebeard but one of them denies as treebeard might dislike when they are smoking a plant. That moment was so funny for me. Also the elvish bread with it's one bite enough for a whole day for a grown up guy but they ate four. Lol

  • GOLLUMS CONVERSATION

It is good to say if we say it dark humour as there was a good and bad side present within the gollum. Both talk to eachother and sometimes it was fun to listen to but the final plan he made was really dangerous 💀.

  • CRITICISM

The movie is although a perfect one for me and i watched all of its three parts in just one night but still there is something i want to criticise. Although there is a theme of love and romance but still the presence of female character is not dominant anywhere. Also the language of characters is no doubt beautiful and really poetic but i would say it might be difficult to understand for modern age viewers. Sometimes the movie also delve into unnecessary details.

Above all of what i said above, i would say that if you have missed this movie and are in search of something extraordinary just go for this movie. I bet you won't regret watching it.

Well, that's all from my side.

     GOODLUCK AND BEST WISHES 👌

Sort:

I recently watched "House of the Dragon." I think this movie has something similar, and it got my interest to watch it.

Well, the house of the dragon is a whole season and I don't think they have any similarity. But still it will be good if you give it a watch and find it by yourself.

This is seriously the best movie trilogy I've ever seen. The actors, the script, the middle-earth universe, everything is very well designed. Of course, you can see unnecessary things in the movie like in every movie, but I think they are minimal.

I think they are minimal

Yeah man, the best setting of the movie even makes the viewers ignore those but I included because it was an overview. Thanks for the comment

I've always wanted to see the saga but for some reason or another I haven't been able to, I've only seen the first film, which I liked a lot.

You must give it a watch ✌️, you won't regret that
