It's Saturday, week 7 of 2025, and just happens to be LPUD day as well !

How Did The Week Go ?
Overall, it was a good week. I managed a very small increase in my posting rate (not quite where I want to get to, but one step at a time....), so it'll be interesting to see if that does anything to improve my HP earnings.
I'm continuing to earn an average of 40HP a week, compared to a target that's currently 70HP a week. It's working out that I'm holding steady at 3% below my target, so last week I was on 9% of target at 12% of the way through the year, this week I'm on 10% of target and 13% of the way through the year. It's not irretrievable but I need to up my game a bit !
With it being LPUD, I had to buy a few LEO to get to the 150 token threshold. I can imagine that being the case every time around, so it'll be interesting to see how many LPUD's I've got fiat to cover.
This week also sees BPUD on Thursday. That's the power up day for BBHO, the token that underlies @thebbhproject by @bradleyarrow - one of my three favourite projects on Hive. If you haven't voted for his witness yet, please do, he's one of the great people whose commitment makes Hive the great place that it is !
I also had an unexpected and very pleasant surprise last week; I was awarded Scribe of the Year by the Scholar and Scribe community. Most of my posts are creative writing rather than crypto or financial analysis, and it's a wonderful ego boost to have that recognised (even if they did all say nice things about me, I'm really not used to that at all, I'm mostly a shy "behind the keyboard" kind of person 😀) It also highlights that Hive is an ecosystem that caters for a huge variety of interests, which is a real strength compared to sites that have a narrow focus on crypto posts.
So that was what my week looked like.... I hope yours was as good !

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
