Cover Account Growth.jpg

February has been a great month for me in terms of account growth. It's the first month that I've set myself specific goals to achieve and I must say that having now set the benchmark, I've been far more focused at chasing them and meniacally destroying them.

February 2022's crypto goals:

  1. Reach 1350HP by 28th February 2022
  2. Take part in Power Up Day
  3. Post every day of the month
  4. Power up every day (I missed the 8th so I didn't make this one)
  5. Delegate some HP to LeoFinance, then put my earned Leo into a CubFinance Farm
  6. Reduce the variety of tokens I have in Binance

So how did I do overall?

My account was sitting at 748.7HP on 1st February 2022 (No HP delegated out)
My account landed at 1312.4 HP on 28th February 2022 (+50HP delegated out)

Total 1362.4 HP

Take part in Power Up Day February 2022: I powered up 230Hive

Post Every Day of the Month:

This was a new challenge to me and at the start of Feb I wasn't too sure if I'd do it, so I just focused on posting every day of the week and then I continued and found that it wasn't as daunting as I originally thought. It felt good this morning seeing my new badges together.

I also hit a milestone - I went from double digits to triple digits on my posts. I've posted over 100 posts. You know that things are starting to get real when HiveBuzz changes your increment from 10 to 50!

Power up every day of the month:

Unfortunately I tried to do PUM by setting my posts to 100%HP, but on 8th Feb, I published a post that I forgot to change from 50/50% and it killed my streak... I was bummed. I decided to rather make powering up every morning a habit to get into so that I wouldn't need to make sure that my posts were set to 100%HP. This has worked out really well and I've powered up Hive every morning since then. I've been tracking my vests through the month and it's quite nice to see that steady increase. I'm hoping to keep my graphs looking like this.

Delegate some HP to LeoFinance: I delegated 50Hive

I then used the Leo that I earned from my delegation as well as those from writing on LeoFinance, wrapped them, paired them with wrapped BNB and I chucked 'em into CubFinance along with some Cake...because I love all kinds of Cake, even crypto Cake.

Reduce the number of tokens in Binance:

I decided this would be a good idea as I simply had way too many and it was becoming silly to try and keep track of what everything was doing. I got rid of about 10 tokens and I'm now focusing primarily on Hive and Wax although I will keep another five or so tokens beyond those that I think might do something in the future.

I'm now a Moderator - Whoohoo :)

I also was bestowed the honour of becoming a moderator on one of my favourite communities - The Weekend. I'm hoping to add value and help out new members, get even more fun topics (and serious ones) in the lineup. I'm sure I'll make some new buddies as well.

A few other metrics that I'm now also tracking:

I like to see that I'm "moving up the ranks" so I'm tracking that as well. This graph I want to look the opposite of the rest. I only started tracking this daily in mid Feb so it's not a very good reprentation of the full month, but it's moving down at a nice angle. This angle will probably even out more and more because reputation tends to increase more slowly the higher up your rep score gets. I moved up 673 places in 28 days. Not too shabby I reckon.

Rank Decrease Feb 2022.jpg

Then I also set myself a massive long term goal for my Hive account and I'm tracking the percentage achieved. Obviously this fluctuates a lot from day to day as it's linked to the Hive price as well as the exchange rate from USD to ZAR. So far I've achieved 1% of my goal. Ok that is a bit depressing, but it's still almost double what it was last month and the best part? I've set the goal and the intention and that to me makes the difference!

Percentage to Goal February 2022.jpg

It was a good month. Thanks to @arcange and @leofinance for having created HiveBuzz and HiveStats, they have been so valuable in being able to access and track these metrics. They have made me more motivated to keep posting, keep engaging and keep learning.

My March 2022 Goals:

  1. Reach 2000HP
  2. Increase my engagement
  3. Take part in Power Up Day (PUD)
  4. Post every day of the month
  5. Power up every day of the month (PUM)
  6. Reach Reputation level 66 and ranking 5200 5000
  7. Reach 2,6m vests (currently at 2,4m)
  8. Delegate at least 10Hive to an account/cause of my choice

I've almost already reached ranking 5200, so I've changed that to 5000, I don't want to make it too easy hahaha. I've already completed number 8 today as well.

All of my graphs are made with LibreOffice - because I really dislike Microsoft and avoid their software as often as possible like the plague.

So that's my wrap up. I hope that March is a successful month for us all. This morning's Hive price hopefully put a smile on your faces. Have a wicked day!

Onwards and upwards!

Wow, these are quite tasking goals. Good job for the job done so far. But how did you do the daily posting? How? @andrastia

Hi @temibot

Thanks for the message, I just decided at the start of February that I was going to make a concerted effort to post once a day so I made sure that I did. Some days it was difficult to find the time, but once you get into the habit of doing it, it becomes easier.

Have a good day

I now understand
.thanks,

A pretty good effort all rounds I'd say Andy...A bugger you fucked up the 8th, but it looks like you'll make amends and redeem yourself in March.

Thanks Galen, I'm going to give it my best shot!

Wow how can you make a post seem so amazing detailed

Well done

Thank you, I just love making graphs and the rest just flows from that 😃
