I like to share my growth journey on Hive from time to time as I started with 0 and have grown the account from the ground up. If I can do it then anyone can as it is all up to the individual. This has not been easy, but definitely worthwhile and would recommend this to anyone to try and achieve. The first two years I hustled my back side off to try and catch those who had been on Hive from the beginning.
Growing on HIVE is not easy due to the time factor required as it takes years to gain any form of traction. This is where consistency plays a big role as you need to show up every day and stay active. Over the years I have seen many users arrive and start with a bang only to fizzle out over time and now pop in a few times a month. There is nothing wrong with that, but then do not expect an exceptional growth rate either.
I often use the Ragnarok snap shot that was taken for the SPK network as a guide growth point. I know my starting date of my HIVE account and the snap shot was taken on the 6th January 2022. My account had been active for roughly 46 months and at that particular time had 63 530 Hive Power which is an average of 1381 HIVE per month. This was starting from 0 so it did take a little longer to get the wheels turning.
Looking what has happened since January 2022 is quite remarkable as the stake has been accumulating at a much faster rate. The difference from then until now is 78 320 Hive Power as been accumulated in roughly 3 years with an average of 2175 Hive staked/powered up monthly. The speeding up process is roughly 60% quicker than what was achieved in the first 4 years which is a great figure to know as it allows other new users to understand the growth process.
Stake generates more stake through the value you hold ad as it grows your earning potential rises through the APR and curation rewards/voting that is on offer. The obvious part is the more stake you have the quicker you will grow and what 46 months took to achieve has been surpassed comfortably in 3 years less one week. The next two years would be interesting if I was not selling and buying back with the market peak due next year. I believe that with consistency what was achieved over 3 years this can now be achieved within or close to two years next.
Everyone grows at a different pace and why you must never compare because every account is different. Any growth is good growth so stick to a pace that suits you and more importantly one you know you can maintain. Growing an account on Hive should be about enjoyment and not seen as a task or work and if you can find that balance then consistency will become an every day thing.
