I never give these articles the time of day, but I guess many people do read them.
Today when I went to go search for something on Google I noticed in the trending searches Bitcoin was amongst them with the Bitcoin price prediction 2025 among the tending searches. This cannot be crypto people because we all know this is not something you can predict and we all have our own thoughts on were this price can go. Retail or dumb money as it is often called has no clue and are very gullible.
The one thing we all know is ere is big money to be made in crypto and we have been involved for years and this year we are primed to turn on the printing presses. The last time around I for one was not ready and was happy to watch the show without getting involved. Sometimes it is far better to sit out and watch from a distance taking in and learning as you go.
If you had invested $1000 in Bitcoin 10 years ago you would be sitting on roughly $270 000 today. That is truly mind blowing and why one should hold for a lengthy period of time. The same with Ethereum except this is over 9 years and the $1000 investment would be worth in the region of $2.7 million.
Whatever you invest into is all about timing and how early you are and this is so true for crypto. Investing $1000 into the S&P 500 would have seen a return of $3200 over the last 10 years so this is not exactly going to make you retire any time soon. I think the big difference between a successful investment and one that is average is what you do with it and you should be continuously working on it.
An investment that is continuously grown through additional investment over a 10 year period with the additional compounding effect taking place will grow and be worth far more. This is where staking and earning daily rewards will outperform what we would call the normal investments.
I think this is why it is so hard to think like a retail investor because of how much knowledge we already have. I know that if I grow my crypto portfolio over 2 consecutive crypto cycles that I will end up with considerable wealth ad this is all based on the compounding of the daily rewards plus adding to the stack when dips occur. You are growing your stack 24/7 over an 8 year period or longer and you will see serious returns that others can only dream about.
2025 is going to be a big year for many of us and this has been a long time coming and yes this is not about getting lucky, but working hard and making the right decisions.
