Hive Power Up- #HPUD September!

Hey Lions, Hivian investors and long-term thinkers of Hive, we have ourselves the first of another month, September and you all know what that means. It’s HPUD and We Power UP! This month’s power up day is a bit special for me because September just happens to be my birth month and I’ll be celebrating my Birthday soon (jk, I most likely won’t be celebrating, not a huge fan of celebrating my own birthday).

This HPUD included, I have seen and participated in two HPUDS since I joined. I haven’t fully made two months though. I think at the rate at which I’m growing my stake, I should achieve or be close to my annual HP goals at the end of the year. I haven’t really made a number yet, maybe that will be a big reveal for when I hit the target. The reveal will be both a surprise to the community and to myself.

Looking back at the stats of my HPUD last month, I had 125HP before powering up, and after powering up 17HIVE, I had 143HP. A month later today, I have double my HP last month, sitting at 244HP before power up. I powered up 56HIVE to round it up to 300HP(a little above double🙂). Odd numbers make me feel some typa way so I always try to keep things as rounded as possible lol.

Much as I want to power up all my HIVE to grow faster, I have a lot of shit I need to take care of, and my first transfer of 20 liquid HIVE today will maybe sort one thing out. I thought of moving it into my savings until when I really needed it, but I fear if I did, I’d be stuck if I were ever in an emergency since I already have all my HBD in savings.

Now I have to say like I did last time, I’ve seen some very impressive numbers from oldies in the HPUD last month and I see that I’m merely a remora in an ocean of fish.

I’m still not discouraged though. All these big guys (aside whales)started small and steadily and slowly built their stake up. That is where I am right now. The building part. I see the importance of having a big stake(and if you’re reading this, you probably do too) and that’s my mission right now. My wallet history shows where my head is at.

Trust me man, you’re doing a lot better than I did in the beginning hahaha. I think it took me approximately 5 or 6 months to get to 300 HP! Back then it was the other blockchain Steem but you get the idea. This is my account after 4 weeks I think it was lol

Awesome power up and progress man! You’re killing it for sure and I’m really glad to have come across you along the way! I think you’re doing good and are fitting in nicely in the hive community here.

You're welcome man! I added you to the fanbase and gave you a 200 Hive Power delegation. You're double your base Hive Power now! What's cool is that you can likely start earning a little curation rewards. That's Hive Power that you earn from voting on things. It is a slow process at first but eventually it picks up and ends up being a really great source of passive income!

All you gotta do is just read the post in the rant community and leave a comment! I know that there are a lot of different people that post in there so when we can engage with the users in there, I know it is well received. You don't have to go nuts and write a book in the form of a comment but just something that shows them you read their post and give them a little feedback.

Granted, use your judgement. Thankfully there have only been 3 or 4 posts in the community that I completely disagree with and I just drop something short or slightly random. If you don't like the topic don't feel pressured to leave a comment. It's not that serious! Lol. I just want to make sure that people who post there get some type of comment if appropriate.
