My Linux PC was locked, which made it very uncomfortable. I couldn’t log in, and surprisingly, I hadn’t changed the password. After trying to troubleshoot, I decided to use a portable Linux setup with an SSD. This allowed me to access my files and continue working while I figured out what caused the lockout. It was frustrating, but the portable setup provided a useful workaround until I could resolve the issue with my main system.
I tried to reinstall Linux, but I failed. I didn't want to lose my data and files, so I decided to use portable Linux instead. The problem, however, is that all my browser data is gone. I have to enter my keys and passwords repeatedly, which is frustrating and time-consuming. It’s not fun at all, and while portable Linux is helpful for accessing my files, the inconvenience of constantly re-entering credentials is making the experience much more difficult.
I plan to buy a new laptop, but finances are tight. The school tuition has consumed over 60% of my expenses. Despite this, I’m staying positive and focusing on finding solutions to manage my finances and achieve my goals.
