This morning I was on my way to work on FL-91, I heard a squeaky noise front the front of the truck.
I heard it for a week and the mechanics could not see the problem from within.
Today was the day where all broke loose.
As you can see on the picture, maybe some remnants from the break pads punctured the tire.
Lucky for me I was driving slow (35 MPH due to traffic) on the right lane so I quickly made ways for the side of the roads.
I had a feeling from yesterday this Tuesday will be something.
I had plan to bring the truck to the shop on Thursday,
I guess the wait was no more.
ABS light was on the dash.
It was a break issue. Simple term my break worn out.
It is hard to check the break just by looking at it on this E-450 Econoline Ford.
I should have known the noise was the break system.
It is a learning process owning this vehicle.
I lost a day at work and the spending begins.
This is America at its finest.
You earn the dough, you will spend the dough right away.
It is an evolving situation that never stop.
Towing service to the shop, etc...
As you know waiting for towing is an eternity.
I stopped on the road at 8 AM.
I made it to the shop by 11:30AM.
By 4:45 PM the problem has been resolved.
At least I can say with clarity I will be ready to hit the road tomorrow morning at the earliest possible.
Since I got time on my hand I did go to the market to buy some goodies.
I love seafood.
I did get some goat meat as well.
By the way there is an area called Loxahatchee where a guy sells goat alive.
It is expensive to get one.
Almost $400 US for a nice one.
If you don't have a business (restaurant) usually folks share the meat cause you need a big freezer to keep it altogether.
Finally made it home by 2PM.
South Florida sun is no joke lately.
I did go to Chipotle for some good ol chicken al Pastor for my son and I.
I think two weeks ago I drove in the rain, that could cause the break to fail quicker.
I did hear the squeaky right after the three days deluge.
Glad this dilemma will be behind me.
Arriving home, paper works are waiting for me.
Clients already calling since I missed today. they forget there is tomorrow.
I do help as well with insurance needs.
So I took care of some clients in the meantime.
While the day seems hurting me earlier, I find it rewarding I can help and remain positive.
Another positive note #crypto is mounting a great day since half of last week.
I am not sure if I can count a run for this Summer.
This is vacation time for many.
Expect for the worst within your limits.
There is one thing I learn about life.
You may have some bad days on and off.
Just focus on the good day and you will be alright.
Bad days are a reminder for you to balance and continue to grind.
Even my little portfolio on the stock market is doing okay.
I was under water due to my purchase of couple stocks but #apple and #WMT are doing much better.
Time always favor the ones that can wait.
Today is almost over and as long you are moving and healthy, give glory to the Almighty.
By the way it is Summer, I do make time to play some fifa (#fifa21) with my son.
It is fun but lately he is getting better and it is hard to beat him.
We are enjoying ourselves, that is what counts at the end.
