What's up plebs?
Been a while since I posted a silver piece from the stack. Today I bring you yet another beautiful German coin, a 10 Deutsche Mark minted in 2000 for the 10th Anniversary of the German Reunification.

The reverse features the parliament building and the reverse features a unique design of the imperial eagle along with the denomination, minting date etc.
As for the German reunification, I think it's something everyone has heard. Tldr, first we had the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and later on October 3, 1990 the two germanies officially re-united. Of course there was still a long way to go for the country to be really reunited and there were still many disparities and challenges left to be dealt with.
Oh, like all commemorative German coins this comes with an inscription as well:
WIR SIND DAS VOLK - WIR SIND EIN VOLK

This phrase was prominent during the peaceful protests and demonstrations that eventually led to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the eventual reunification of Germany in 1990.
