Poshosho
This is how my daughter named her favorite pet, a common lizard (Green Anole), male and of considerable size for his species.
She found him on her way to school and since she brought him home he became a member of the family, a friend. He is quite tamed and likes human contact. He spends most of his time in her room and sometimes goes sightseeing around the house.
He is very curious and likes to rest on top of human skin. It seems that as they are cold-blooded our warmth comforts him.
He is almost always green in color although, according to my daughter, when he gets stressed he takes on a dark crimson hue. It's funny, Oli bathes him, hunts insects for him to feed him, gives him water, all as if he was another kind of pet. They get along well😂.
Poshosho will return to his natural habitat shortly. My daughter understands that if he stays for too long he may lose skills to survive in his environment. He will only be a pet for a while. He has not been the first she has had of his species and I don't think he will be the last. But evidently this has been the most special one so far.
Visiting the aquarium just to say hello, although the goldfish is a bit worried about his presence 😂.
He doesn't miss the opportunity to lay down every now and then to be pampered and tickled - who doesn't like that?
It's 7.20 pm, he evidently doesn't like the program being broadcast on tv and does his best to turn off or change the channel.😳
He knows his flaky skin is gorgeous and is proud to show it off.
Pochocho is a good lizard, he even has artistic sensibility.
