This afternoon, I experienced discomfort when I went to pick up my daughter from school at 3 p.m. on my motorcycle. I had to wait for a minute before she came running after me from the school gate at 3:05 p.m. We chatted briefly before I gave her a ride home.
To my dismay, my motorcycle couldn't move as I tried to leave. Upon inspection, I discovered that the tire was flat. I then walked to a nearby tire patching workshop, which took about 5 minutes to reach.
Upon arriving at the workshop, I consulted with the mechanic and was surprised to find a large nail embedded in my motorcycle tire.
The mechanic informed me that the tire needed to be replaced with a new one due to the damage caused by the nail. I agreed to the replacement, which cost 50,000 IDR or $4.5 for a new internal tube tire.
The mechanic promptly replaced the tire, and I decided to keep the damaged one as the internal tube was still in good condition, intending to have it patched at another workshop later.
After the quick repair job, I settled the payment with the mechanic and finally rode my daughter home, bringing an end to what had been a challenging afternoon.
