Hannah loved dear Puss more than she could say, but she wondered at his impish grin
"Where has Tweetie Gone?" she asked Puss, whose purring countenance seemed contentedly innocent.
"I've not a clue," came Puss with an odd sounding muffled voice. Puss did sound odd, maybe he was getting a cold.
"Well, no matter, I'm sure he'll fly home to us soon", said Hannah snuggling Puss closer to her warm pink cheeks.
"Yes," purred Puss,
"I'm sure he's not very far off," he said swallowing the lump in his throat.
He gave out the long warm Purr of the Innocent.
I hope you like my little illustration. I was looking through more of my black and whites and I had forgot of this illustration made a bit ago. I really wanted to give it some color.
The storyline I hope is obvious here in the single illustration, but it is fun to break it into sections and give it a little bit of writing.
The original story in my head when I first made the illustration is probably similar to what I shared today, but today's was simply the lines running in my head as I added color and layers to the drawing.
When you are creating artwork, do you find the characters have a life of their own?
I hope you find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions and as always remember to stay creative.
