It is another time to participate in the splinterland contest for the week, and this week I will be doing a post on Queen of Crows.
This is the female character I intended to draw, the character is the way it looks. I also wanted to add a bit of colour but I see the character is better this way, so I concentrated on the face of the character.
I was able to get the background of the character, and it is below:
The Queen of Crows was a faerish mytho-historical figure who was recorded to be the first queen of Tirnanoc.
Due to the sprawling mythos of the Old Ways that is intimately entangled with faerish history, it is sometimes hard for an outside observer to tell where mythology ends and fact begins. The storied age of the gods often bleeds rather ambiguously into formal Tirnanese history: the flesh and blood Queen of Crows, who expelled the fauns from southern Tirnanoc and created the first pan-faerish empire. It was said that she was the daughter of the mythic war goddess Morrígu and was conceived when the goddess slew a dragon and mounted its still burning corpses. Link
