After a few years, have you ever considered revisiting your work? Retrospectively evaluating your work, or allowing others to make revisions to your original work? If you do any of these you will be able to relate with me.
Since I've been focusing more on photoshop and graphics, my blogging inclinations have stalled out. Meanwhile, I have also gained my interest in AI art websites where the AI adds a little touch of theirs to your piece of work. It is fascinating to look at the level of effort the developers put into these websites. It gives off the impression that you're converting a jpg. file to a png. file, similar vibes. So, after a long time now I used Deepart.io again, to see the changes it can bring to my painting.
This is the original watercolor painting of the portrait, which I created in 2019. A female friend asked me to paint this, and I felt motivated to do so. And here's the converted version.
This has an acrylic look and feels to it. Here's what happened when I combined one of my paintings with a similar acrylic work. An accurate and seamless color mixing may be seen. The overall artwork has a brilliant glow, despite a few smudges in the details. In contrast to my painting, the acrylic color brings life to it.
Below, is the vibe taken from "The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh and a mix of "Whirlpool Galaxy" sketches by Lord Rosse.
Converting to oil on canvas has the effect of painting on canvas. As you can see, the mood is frantic and sad rather than fascinating as I had hoped. However, there is also calming tranquility. In general, the blue hue helps it stick out.
