A little black duck (mixed media on paper)

in #hive-17430122 days ago

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!
This morning a light wind was blowing and so I decided to collect some plum tree (the ones ready to eat) from the branches of the tree in my backyard. They are really good and they are perfect for an healthy break. It's nice to think about fruits (and vegetables) we can grow up by ouselves to eat. In my backyard I have just that plum tree, but it give me a lot of fruits every year and usually I can cook 6-7 jars of good jam with it. Not bad, right? ^_^
Coming back to us, today I'm here to share with you a new tiny artwork I painted yesterday in the afternoon, during another lesson of the art class inside our lab room. In the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, inspired by the many duck I use to watch along the side of the river close to my home, the subject is one of my usual black duck.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted it:

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
