Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
Another working week is just started and I ope you spent a nice weekend. Here it's another sunny (hot day) and I start to think this is the hotest October I remember in my life. Maybe the bees and the butterflies in my backyard are thinking the same, because here it seems to be in a sort of hot Springtime.
Well, today I'm here to show you anoter new parrot I painted in my own illustrative style: the Blue-eyed cockatoo parrot (Cacatua ophthalmica).
In the following pics, you can see the final result:
You can read more about this kind of parrot here. Just to know, this is not a kind of bird I can see to fly free in my area. Here in Tuscany (Italy) there are no free parrots around, even if some people have little parrots at home.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted this funny (and fat) parrot so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping this Blue-eyed cockatoo will find a new home !
I hope you like it and, if you want, stay tuned to see other birds painted by me!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
