Practice Not Perfect (PNP), the first spin-off of the Hive community Creative Work Hour, is an online music practice studio born on Valentine's Day, 2022, expressly for the love of music.
*Practice Not Perfect co-founder @alessandrawhite on 14 February, 2022, launches the online practice room live from in her Spokane music studio with partner & co-founder @bitterirony.
As we make our wish and blow out our creative candles, we can boast the we've met in our online suite of practice rooms some 1067 CONSECUTIVE DAYS!!!
The little sister/brother of CWH, PNP stands skinny but tall, welcoming friends of Hive and CWH who want a place later in the day to come and do what starts perhaps imperfectly but eventually comes on strong, building resilience every step of the way.
There are bedazzled words and concepts that were just seedlings in PNP that later got transplanted and expanded in CWH over the last 1000+ days. So to celebrate these creative breakthroughs, on 15 February, 2025, we are returning to the recording studio to co-host the Creative Work Hour Podcast, episode 41, "Practice Not Perfect and the Power of Words."

Our small group practices daily at 2pm PST | 5pm EST | 10pmπΉ UTC. We do the work on mute, but at 5 minutes until the top of the hour we quickly give a progress check in, either by voice or text, to give ourselves credit for showing up.
