Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
One of this week's prompts is asking if I believe in positivity, heheh. Oh yes, I do.
I personally think positivity is a very powerful force that can transform our lives in ways beyond our imagination. Having a positive mindset is a must; it should be our way of living. Having a positive mindset helps in different ways. It makes you see things from a different perspective and through a different lens; it opens you up to different opportunities, experiences, and relationships.
I have lived a positive and optimistic life and also a pessimistic life, and I can boldly tell that the difference is like night and day.
Having a positive mindset gives you the strength to find joy in everyday moments and keep moving, even in the midst of challenges.
There is something I have been doing for a very long time: I speak to myself. When I am happy or sad, I speak to myself; when I am feeling down or discouraged, I encourage myself most times. I have realized that you would not always have people around you that would encourage you when you are at your worst, and if you don't have a positive attitude, it would be really hard for you to bounce back.
Positivity is not just positive confession but having a strong belief system that you are bigger than any and everything life throws at you. Positivity is not just about saying you can do it, but believing and being convinced in the fact that you can do it.
To continue to stay positive, I have longed believe in myself. Many times, people give up on themselves, and this already is a sure recipe for defeat. The fear of death has killed more people than death in itself. The fear of failure has closed down more businesses than actual failures. You can never go through a situation without believing first in yourself that you can surmount whatever challenge is before you.
To stay positive, I must always have a victory mentality. To have a victory mentality is to see yourself as the preferred one in every situation. To have a victory mentality is to not have a victim's mentality. To have a victory mentality is to be conscious of the fact that whatever situation you find yourself in, it will always end in your advantage. To have a victory mentality is to see life from the victor's point of view.
To stay positive, I must be vocal about it. Life punishes the timid and rewards the bold. Life does not give you what you deserve; life gives you what you demand. If you must come out victorious, your confessions just has to be positive. You cannot be complaining about any situation and expect to edge it out. You cannot be confessing negativities about a situation and expect positive outcomes from it. We are not just a product of our most dominant thoughts, but we are also products of our most dominant confessions.
To stay positive, I have chosen to be deliberate about my course of action. I have seen many people talk right, think right, only to act wrongly. Take, for instance, you are job seeking; you stumble on a job offer, and you see yourself as being qualified for the job—believing in yourself. You also have the right mentality of yourself; you believe you will come out as the most preferred candidate in the end—victory mentality.
You are vocal about your job prospects; you tell everyone who cares to listen that you have gotten the job—you are being vocal about it. However, you refuse to apply for the job, despite all the aforementioned, despite the positive self-worth, despite the victory mentality, and despite the vocal confessions.
That missing link of not applying for the job neutralizes every other attribute. I said all of that to say that you just need to be deliberate about the course of action or actions you take; it could be a make-or-break ingredient in your success equation.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
