The moment I was back working again, after two weeks of working, I experienced a cough, runny nose, and fever. I think the cause was the changing weather and my body is still adjusting my working schedule. I take all the remedies to heal from these sicknesses, but I still have a cough.
Way back when I was young, when we had a cough, all we needed to do was go to the sea early in the morning and dip in seawater, and viola, the cough was gone.
So, for the past few weeks, I had planned to go to the nearest beach in our place to remedy my cough, yet I always failed since I don’t like waking up early. Despite having a long weekend last week, still I did not manage to visit the sea.
But, yesterday, I told my husband that I needed to visit the sea since it’s been more than 2 weeks since I experienced this cough and it’s not good to keep coughing while working. Normally, every Friday evening, I turn off my alarm so that I have a good sleep during weekends yet, yesterday was different. I set my alarm for 6 am to go to the nearest beach in our place. I already shared here on the platform about the beach that is just a walking distance away from the place I lived.
Morning came, as expected, I did not wake up from the alarm I set, and my husband was the one waking me up. As I woke up, my husband told me that the plan was canceled since it rained early morning. Even though it is fine to swim while raining, the problem is the seawater is not clear during rain. So, I sleep again.
When I woke up after I slept, the rain had stopped and it was already 10 am and when I observed the weather, it was not very hot because the weather was not yet fine. I realized that it was still a good time to have a short dip in the seawater.
I went to my husband who was busy checking the minivan and told him that I wanted to go to the sea after breakfast. After I ate my breakfast, I ate my breakfast alone since my husband already had breakfast, and did not wait for me since he knew I would wake up late and he needed to check the minivan today.
When we arrived at the beach, it was not low tide, and the water was deep. It was a good opportunity to swim. The good part was no people around because the place was only common for the locals and because the weather was not fine, no one attempted to have a get-together on the beach.
My husband had no interest in swimming, he was not a fan of seawater. He was tasked to take pictures to use for the blog today.
Now, my cough is not like before since I already visited the sea.
Are you like me? Visiting the beach when experiencing a cough?
