So as I promised in my latest 2 posts I will announce the people who wrote the most compelling story about this year’s Books and life contest theme: bereavement. I know this is not a pleasant topic and I suppose this might be the reason why people did not jump with a lot of desire for participating in this one. The numbers do not count as I look at the quality of the writing. Of course that I would have wished to read more personal stories but I am aware that I am operating in a niche within a niche.
If you want to read the entries you can find them at this link:

The first award consisting in 120 Hive will be given to @jemima1996 for her beautiful entry. I invite you to read her story, it is empowering even if it is sad.
The second award consisting in 80 Hive will be given to @nathy33 for her entry. I also invite you to read her entry as well.
I thank you for participating in this one and having to courage to show vulnerability and sadness, something which is not very popular in our curated social media culture where sad people post happy pictures all of the time. So even if the number of participants in this year’s edition is ridiculously low in comparison with the last year I am grateful. It takes courage to be vulnerable and fewer and fewer people show this nowadays.
I wish everyone happy holidays and may you always appreciate every day and every person that you love in your life!
