Klepon || Old cake that still exists

in #hive-1805692 years ago

Hello community friends
How are you?
wish you always good

This is my first post here, hopefully friends can help.

I'm currently writing about Klepon cake.

Klepon is a traditional Indonesian food/cake that still exists and is very popular until now.

This cake is included in the market snacks which are round and filled with brown sugar and cooked by boiling in boiling water.

Klepon is not difficult to make, the ingredients are also very simple. It only consists of 4 ingredients.

very often found at weddings, celebrations and tahlilan events.
usually will be arranged in small plates to serve to guests.

It will feel like a brown sugar explosion when you bite into this cake and the filling will melt.

the texture of the meat is chewy-chewy and sweet on the inside, with a savory taste on the outside because it is covered with grated coconut.

______________☘️________________

Ingredient

  • 300gr glutinous rice flour

  • Brown sugar

  • Squeeze pandan water

  • Grated coconut.

_______________☘️_______________

how to make

  • first cut the brown sugar into small pieces

~ then cut into small pieces of pandan leaves and blender then squeeze and set aside.

~ Next, prepare the glutinous rice flour, add the pandan leaf juice and stir until evenly distributed

  • Prepare grated coconut and add a little sugar

  • Heat the water and pan

shape the dough like a ball and punch a hole in the middle then fill it with Brown sugar that has been cut into small pieces then close it again until it forms a small ball

  • If the water is boiling, add the dough that has been shaped and wait until the dough floats on the water

  • If it's floating, lift it and drain it
Then put it in the grated coconut and roll it over and then transfer it to a plate.

Klepon is ready to be enjoyed.

Hi @jamaliah.jee.

I have seen that you have published in the Plant Power (Vegan) community, for the first time. I have reviewed your presentation post and it has caught my attention that he is bilingual, also using Spanish, that is curious.

Now, I would like to know your other social networks, I mean Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, please leave me your accounts here. Thanks.

Regarding your recipe, I do not see the complete quantities of all the ingredients, and this is essential, since whenever a recipe is presented, it is necessary to indicate the quantities of all the ingredients to be used, and how many servings you will obtain. Please edit and include that data.

a little late to see your comment, I'm sorry. like you said, apparently I'm a little careless here. I will pay more attention to it in the next post. Thank you for reminding me

Better late than never, so edit the post and give me your social media accounts, please.

Yay! 🤗
