Hello hivers and friends who love vegan 🌱 delight. Hope your week is going amazingly.

Do you know cassava is a very versatile root tuber that we can prepare in several ways except because we don’t know how to prepare it in several ways to suit ourselves especially because it might involve some long process or due to how we can not make it spicy 🌶 and delicious.

But this very recipe I want to share with you is one that will surprise you all because you will get to see how you can incorporate cassava in your kitchen as an amazing recipe with ease and straightforward. And because this cassava is fresh from the farm when I went to a local market, I decided I must not miss sharing it with you guys.

Growing up I have this recipe stored in my memory from my grandmother’s way of preparing the spicy delicious fresh farm cassava. Although my mother made it later in years, but I first enjoyed it in my grandmother’s house and in her own version of making a sauce of palm tree 🌴 red oil with some other local ingredients and its finishing result will amaze everyone.

Here are the steps for preparing this delight you must make sure to prepare.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cassava tubers
2 ripped cherry tomatoes 🍅
Red hot peppers
2 tablespoons of palm tree red oil
1/4 salt
1/2 of red powder pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 clove garlic
1/2 thumb of ginger

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

Step 1.

To prepare this cassava, I will start by cutting and washing it. As here above.

Step 2.

Then take it into the pot adding water to set it for boiling.

Step 3

Will boil it just for 20 minutes. Once the color changes from white to milk. Its cooked.

Step 4.

And once its cooked , I sieve off the water and allow to cool down completely.

Step 5

Once it cools completely, I will peel the back off and cut them into two

Step 6

Next is to slice square it thinly. As shown above.

Step 7.

Will take it into a basin pan adding water, and will leave it over night to ferment

As shown here above with milky color water.

Step 8.

Then will remove the milky water, rains it properly with new water and sieve it to stay drying .

Step 9.

I will wash and slice the spice ingredients readily

And will fry the spices by first heating up the oil, then add the spices , making sauce with it.

Adding just little water.

Step 10.

Finally will mix the sliced cassava into a meal 🥘 .

You can not believe how this recipe turned out to taste . A long memory brought to life and into a taste of delicious savory delight. Make your farm fresh cassava trying this recipe . I promise you will love ❤️ it.

What a super spicy dish, looks so tempting ❤️

looks very delicious. but when boiling why not peel the skin first.

Because the skin protects it to still stay together. Sometimes if you don’t time it well, it scatters and become over soft.

Thanks friend for stopping by. Happy weekend
