Today teaching was great and we were taught that we are the descendants of David immediately we give our lives to Christ and Christ intentions and will for us is to always do good and not associate with the wicked people.
"Romans 2:23 You boast about having God's law---but do you bring shame on God by breaking his law?"
"1 Corinthians 5:11-13. What I meant was that you should not associate with a person who calls himself a believer but is immoral or greedy or worships idols or is a slanderer or a drunkard or a thief. Don't even sit down to eat with such a person.12-13. After all, it is none of my business to judge outsiders. God will judge them. But should you not judge the members of your own fellowship? As the scripture says, Remove the evil person from your group."
Bro Daniel taught us the importance of doing good rendering help to people and making sure that our ways and characters is Christ like. We are not of the world and so when the we see the people of the world behaving contrary to what Christ taught us we should not surprise or feel out of place God is our father and everything we do should be to please him. Our character and attitude should be to draw people and maintain them in their fellowship to God. When doing good it should be from our heart and not to mock the person or with the intension of what we will gain from them. When we see people doing bad we should not withdraw back in removing them from the church except they genuinely repent and seek forgiveness if not they will contaminate fellow Christian and make them start doing bad.
"1 Corinthians 15:33. Do not be fooled. Bad companions ruin good character."
"Jeremiah 30:9. Instead, they will serve me, the LORD their God, and a descendant of David, whom I will enthrone as king."
Christ warn us not to be deceive that their character will not influence us, we should stay away from them if not gradually our good morals will be destroy. When doing good we should try and focus more on people who did not have than the rich because a poor man is easy to satisfy than a rich man but that doesn't mean God did not want to do good for the rich person because everyone of us need help in one way or the other.
"Luke 15:7 In the same way, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine respectable people who do not need to repent."
"Jeremiah 30:19. The people who live there will sing praise; they will shout for joy. By my blessing they will increase in numbers; my blessing will bring them honor."
Christian should look for loss souls and win there hearts to Christ and those that once backslide should also be look for and preach for so that the church of God can increase. In increasing the church of God we are warn not to use diverse means like giving them wives, jobs, house, promotion, money, influence but rather preach above the importance of knowing God and doing his will.
