Good day brethren from the household of God. It is a beautiful thing and a glorious thing to know that we are members of the household of God. The household of God is the church of God. The gift of salvation that we received from the Lord is such a great blessing. The Holy Spirit that indwells us and guides us in our daily walk with God.
Matthew 17:5 NIV
While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
In the house of God, the Teacher whom God has sent from heaven is our only qualified entity to instruct us in the way of God. This Teacher is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one God instructed us to listen to. Bro Eli Soriano, in the MCGI Mass Indoctrination has re-echo to us that our teacher is Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 2:1 NIV
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
There are several false teachers in the world. These false teachers are among us in the church of God. The false teachers are teaching us according to their fleshly desires. The use their traditions to teach as doctrines. They lead men out of the way of God. They are deceivers. We are advised in the Bible to watch out for them and beware. We are not to listen to them. Jesus alone is our Teacher.
1 Corinthians 14:37 NIV
If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.
When we come to listen to the teachings of the doctrines by Bro Eli Soriano during the MCGI Mass Indoctrination, we are offered the ample opportunity to receive the true doctrines of Jesus Christ. Let us keep our hearts to obey these doctrines and God will bless us.
